Mind you, it's right before a 3 day conference I've got to go to for work, and I'm seriously under-wardrobed for a multi-day event (and am not likely to get the second Japanese done).

I have 1 outfit that's suitable for an outdoor event. And 1 other that I can kinda sorta maybe make work (I'm just not into wearing pounds of velvet outdoors in June anymore ;-).

You do not have to be a member. You DO have to make an attempt at pre-17th century dress. (And it doesn't define "attempt.")

Like she said, just show up in garb & pay the site fee. Sometimes (but doesn't look like this one) there's a small discount for card-carrying members.
