HP dvd740e USB drive: Epic fail. Still running, but unreliable
Maxtor OneTouch III 300gb drive: Epic fail. Returned
Western Digital MyBook 500gb drives: Mixed, several failures returned, several still in service
Netgear ReadyNAS NV+: Only had a few weeks, but looks like success

Sony Mavica FD73: Success. May still have somewhere.
Canon Powershot S230: Success, passed on, still running

I got enough good use out of them to still be satisfied when they finally failed.
