It's almost 7 minutes long. It might be considered NSFW, but it's a public health campaign.

It's the Nrityanjali Academy's condom-advocacy public health performance for The International HIV/AIDS Alliance, The Frontiers Prevention Project and the Mythri Clinics.

It's public health as a Bollywood musical

Look closely at pink and blue. It's priceless. I think a few of the subtitles are a bit off, but not by much. I expect "You think no end of yourself" probably really translates to "You think you'll live forever."

Still, charming and funny.

Just watch out for that line-drawing near the end.

Brilliant!!

A shame we'll never see anything as memorable (or tongue-in-cheek) made for US audiences.

Still, if a bunch of goggling English-speaking teens watch it out of sheer amazed curiosity, maybe the message will get through to some folks it might not have otherwised reached, and that would be great!

I've had it for a while in my YouTube favs and showed it the other day to out Student Association welfare officer - guess what, she is now using this wonderful video for their HIV/STD campaign. We laughed until we had tears in our eyes, it is so delightful. I am particularly fond of the nobbed one.
P.S. your other link, the seducing tips one, had me in stitches this morning, had to send it on straight away. (ohhhhh pun! but a lame one ;-))

My mind is still reeling from the experience.

I think I should've known better than to try and get away with watching something like this - something you would post on your blog - before I've even had my first cup of coffee in the morning!

There's something about this video which seems like it should be wrong. Very wrong. But it's not quite there, actually. So, it isn't wrong it's just... odd. Damn odd...

And yeah, that song is ringing in my skull still as well!

Curse you Mr. Bovil! Curse you to heck!

;)

The opera gloves were what did it for me.

I appreciate them showing a variety of sizes and styles. :) I also appreciate their nonjudgmental approach, considering how repressed and homophobic a country India can be.

Mommy, why are the pickles dancing?

Thanks, darlin', now I've got the tune stuck in my head. Like Velcro, it is. Cheery Indian Velcro.

Oh my God that's awesome and educational. It would be hella' funny if they were filming this and accidentally were in the background of a feed the children commercial =)I'm so stealing this.

I don't understand why this is flagged NSFW? We show stuff like this all the time.

Had to forward it to the Events Co-Ordinator. Maybe it will revive the whole radio info campaign we were planning a few years ago. Its just darn difficult to come up with a good jingle.
