The new printer is on the desk (I spent the afternoon cleaning the desk to clear a space so it could go there when Kevin got home).
It's plugged in.
It smells slightly of melted crayon.
The first output page is faxed to the dealer to send in the rebate.
It's a bit noisy when it's printing. It's not as noisy as the Phaser 560, and it's almost dead-silent when idle.
It's quick. Paper handling (like reloading for printing the second side of a duplexed page) is really quick.
We need a new light fixture in the studio. The one that's in there is awful, and color off the printer looks odd under it. It's fine in a better-lit room.
