Well, I just (earlier this week) installed Mozy Home on our tower and started backing up. This is a relatively good thing. Comcast has been cranky about the backups, though, and my upload bandwidth has been going down the toilet while running the backups. It's been throttled down to about 1/5 of what it should be or lower. It should be 1.5Mb/sec, but it's been more like 300kb/sec.
It wanted to back up 180MB, so I tweaked the back up sets to skip some of the big chunks of data that I thought could wait, and got down to about 18MB of data that was vital, and restarted the backup.
Then I started getting "delayed write failures" on the main data drive.
Not happy.
I'm debating whether I want to get a WiebeTech drive adapter and pull the drive out of the enclosure in hopes of the problem being in the USB/Firewire bridge, or just looking into drive recovery options.
