Well, the Phaser 560 is definitely toast. I'm not seeing much benefit to getting it repaired, and the Phaser 8500 (which has been a long-running product line) is looking really tempting.

Bummer about the old machine.
The MythSoc just had our b&w laser used by our Membership Secretary go bad. And she prints our Annual Report and other goodies on it. So She needs the Big Heavy Duty Kind, $500 worth.
Be thankful you get more color for your $$.

Well, that's the $$ range we're looking at for color, and that's only because of humongous rebates.
