In my opinion, Match Game is one of the easiest games to stage. Family Feud looks easy, but doing the surveys is a pain. Hollywood Squares needs a set that is cumbersome to build. Millionaire isn't that difficult other than writing questions.
Games like Win Ben Stein's Money and Jeopardy have the logistical challenge of having to build "lockout" buzzers or else have to judge when people are buzzing in, which can be tricky. Otherwise, I could run Jeopardy easily -- I already have the code set up in a PowerPoint file, because we did it as part of one of my company's management retreats a few years ago, and I did all the setup then. (It was a lot of fun.)
The National Science Bowl website has a schematic for building a 2-station lockout buzzer (http://www.scied.science.doe.gov/nsb/buzzer.htm). I don't see how it would cost $300, though. Each "player" box shouldn't cost much more than $25 and the control box should come out to about $50-75 based on the materials listing.
Maybe my math is wrong, though.
I'm not good enough at electronics to determine whether this design could be adapted to a 3-station system.
