I so wish that there was a similar perch I could have taken advantage of at the Worldcon masquerade. That was about 15' up sitting on the edge of a spotlight platform, high enough to get over all the heads and get a clear shot. That wasn't going to happen with the way the hall in Montreal was set up, though. I just watched from the audience with some friends.

You coming out to Reno in 2 years? kproche and I are running their masquerade. If the economy recovers enough, it should be bigger than Montreal.
