I found a note that said there were lots of patterns in the SCA Japanese Mailing List files.
Only thing is you've got to subscribe to the list to get to the files. I subscribed in "web only" mode.
Damn.
There are a lot of pattern diagrams in there, a bunch of stuff that really supplements the information at Nihon Yûsoku Kojitsu Ron — A History of Japanese Clothing and Accessories.
