We saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull yesterday. It was fun, but it sure wasn't a great movie.

I also did a lot of laundry. The bedroom continues to get cleaner, though. My wardrobe cabinet is organized, now we just have to get the remaining piles and K's wardrobe cabinet under control.

This morning I caught a really early train up to the City for a 3-day Notes/Domino 8 Upgrade seminar. It's already worth the money. It's also a bit mad, sitting at tables in a hotel basement, working through a few hundred power point slides each day. I'm at the Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf for two more days of this.

For dinner I walked over to tourist hell Fisherman's Wharf and decided to wander around until I found something interesting. Most of the places were very touristy. They were also pretty empty (but it was 6:00 on a Monday). I got down to the Aquatic Park end of Jefferson Street, to the last restaurant on the bay-side of the road. There was a cute guy with a lip piercing who was hosting, and it was kind of busy, so I decided to take a chance.

The place was Capurro's. There was a fabulous little jazz/pop trio playing in the bar. The drink menu featured a bunch of classics, including a murderously good Negroni. Of course they served cioppino. Excellent cioppino. Possibly the best cioppino I've ever had.

It's good enough to brave tourist hell for.
