...well, at least the first half.
No, I didn't download and watch porn featuring nicely-built black men like I was joking to some people. Talk of the Nation spent the morning discussing King's legacy, so I don't really feel guilty about driving around and taking care of errands. It gave me something to listen to and think about.
First order of the day was dropping off the car at Carlsen Subaru for 60k maintenance, a bit of recall service and to have a few things checked. Got a 2006 Forester as a rental. Don't really like it. That's mostly because it's an automatic, but it's also because it has a few options we didn't take (like the extended center arm rest, which is apparently now standard).
Second part was breakfast, followed by party shopping. Trader Joe's came through as always, with ginger cats (appropriate for FurCon) and Chevalier Noir (black knight) cookies (akin to Le Petite Ecolier cookies) appropriate for this year's theme.
Also did a quick stop at Party City to pick up wristbands and plastic tumblers.
Still have to stop at Smart & Final for champagne flutes, but that can wait. A nap is called for now.
