One of the factors they don't mention in the article (because it's one that nobody is talking about) is that the produciton tax being proposed is similar to production taxes in place in both Louisiana and Texas. That puts a real nail in the argument that this would reduce production.
As usual, the Democratic bullshit is touchy-feely bullshit, and the Republican/business bullshit is fear and terror bullshit.
