New ribbon designs...

Ribbon images

First two are standard size, just custom artwork. I couldn't find a rat image, but the "biohazard" symbol really works. The "pawn" seems appropriate to the minion ribbon.

Other size is for "wider" ribbon stock, [livejournal.com profile] hazelchaz and I talked about working with longer badge-extenders for things that call for extra text or artwork. Yeah, it's not the MICR (Magnetic Ink Character Recognition) font, but I couldn't find one and the old ribbons were the only location that used it (IIRC). I kind of like the 9-pin dot-matrix font, though. Techie and easier to read than the MICR text.

Better file mailed off to Chaz.

Spiff-a-rino!

I still need to tell [livejournal.com profile] hazelchaz my new ribbon idea: "Vealcake". For the boys who are hot, but too young and tender to quite be beefcake.

ROFL! I know a few guys who would qualify for such a ribbon. :)

I'm adding "Dancing Fool" to my current order.

For the folks at the dances.

Erm...maybe you could find a different pawn image? Because that looks lie either a dog's Kong toy or an adult toy, not a chess piece. (It's the middle bloop. Most chess pawns don't have those.)

That this pawn design, while not often seen on a physical chessboard, is often seen on the large "display" boards and projections used at chess tournaments to help spectators follow the action.

I kind of like that it's ambiguous, though. It's much cooler than the other pawn character I found.

Interesting. Never watched a chess tournament, and I don't recall seeing it on the various electronic chess games family members have had over the years. Learn something new every day!
