No LosCon this year?

That list makes ours look so pitiful. At least we have excuses. :)

And I miss ANOTHER US WorldCon. Timing has not been kind to me on these things, I swear :P

But I don't think I'm really going to be sorely missing anything that we miss past CC26, and I take heart that we should be back to our normally scheduled program by October. :)

5 of those are before or on your wedding day. That leaves 3 for the rest of the year and the beginning of '09.

BTW, missing Denvention3 will probably not be that great of a loss unless you've got Worldcon or Denver friends you will really miss. Anticipation (Montreal 09) has the possibility of being the one you won't want to miss.

No LosCon. Last year was the only time we've attended LosCon, and that was to promote CC.

*nodnod* The ones before..really only CC26 we have plans to attend. BayCon depends on how things look and how we feel.

I'll have to see how Montreal works out. It's a tempting prospect, but I don't want to anticipate something and have it not work out :)

(and I wasn't even trying for a pun there...)

I'd love to see you at G'con, but I understand. *sniff*

Huh, I'd just assumed you were always there.

Potlatch 18 in the Bay Area in 2009, maybe in the South Bay this time, probably in February or March.

I know how you feel about enthusiasm. I got mine kicked out of me.

Vintacon is in danger of going back to the regular date, I haven't heard from jorhett about lodging yet. I have one con in May I won't be attending/vending, as I am persona non grata. Too bad, I would have loved to do a VintaCon party there, but now that isn't possible either. Dave and I aren't crazy about Vegas, after vending there for Creation, I was not impressed. Still haven't heard the situation for Denver as far as vending, but will go in one capacity or another.

I go to three conventions a year, usually. Including the world's smallest SF con, Karval Kon in Limon, Colorado (this year is No. 30 so we have twice as many years as participants). This year I'm going to four because Worldcon is in my neighborhood. So do I beat you on the anemic list?
